About WECEF
WECEF works with industry and community partners to acquire charitable contributions, in-kind donations, and grants which help to:
• Provide employment and career opportunities
• Help ensure that individuals considering and working in the electrical and low voltage trades realize the benefits of this career choice
• Create collaborative outreach efforts to inform under-served and under-represented groups—particularly women—about opportunities in these trades
• Boost the overall perception of the industry with school and youth outreach and through partnerships with educational organizations
• Increase the awareness of educational opportunities in the electrical and low voltage trades
• Contribute to the availability of quality electrical and low voltage training experiences
• Upgrade laboratory facilities and equipment to offer apprentices and students the opportunity to train on the latest technologies and techniques as they prepare to meet our regions’ workforce needs
